The German localization of GEO5 software was released as a result of cooperation with our local partners. Eurocode 7 (EN 1997) including national annexes (DIN, ÖNORM) was introduced to the software.

GEO5 software was launched on the US market under Bentley GSA (Geotechnical Structural Analysis). LRFD, AASHTO and other US standards were introduced during the cooperation with Bentley Inc. Furthermore, freeware software developed for Redi-Rock Inc., our partner and producer of retaining block wall system, was also released.

Eurocodes (EN1997, EN1992, EN1993, EN1995) including all available National Annexes were implemented to the GEO5 software suite. Eurocode implementation together with the introduction of the local versions strongly boosted the usage of GEO5 software in European Countries (UK, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Spain etc.)

The first version of GEO5 software supporting international standards brought more new possibilities for further development.

The new corporate identity of Fine software was introduced along with the launch of a new website. Web-marketing activities were also supported by our new Online Shop.
2000
The first MS Windows version of GEO was released. The English version of GEO4 was also released and first international sales were realized. The migration from MS-DOS to the Windows operating system was one of the greatest milestones in the history of Fine.
1993
A partnership was established with Bova Březnice, a Czech producer of steel fasteners for timber structures, along with the release of TRUSS software for the analysis of timber roof structures. The complex technology for manufacturing timber structures assembled with punched metal plate fasteners was named Bova-Nail.
